Hey everyone! It's Millie, the maltipoo, and I'm back with another fun blog post! Here's some very im-pur-tant updates all about me!
First things first, I'm going to be getting a Youtube channel! It took a little while for my pup mom, Annalise, to explain to me exactly what a Youtube channel is, but now I get it! You get to make videos and share it with the whole wide world. And I'm getting my very own one! How exciting! I'm going to post all about my fun puppy life with my dog mom! Next week, Annalise and my pup aunt, Anisha, are going to be filming my very first video. I can't wait! My channel hasn't quite been made yet, but when it is, it's going to be called Millie the Maltipoo! (My mom says that's funny because it uses alliteration!) Secondly, in light of my new Youtube channel, I've officially changed my website from www.milliepup.weebly.com, to www.milliethemaltipoo.weebly.com! Make sure you all remember my new web address, and share it with your friends and family, so you can all see cute pictures and updates about me! Next, my pup mom and my pup aunt- Annalise and Anisha -made a collab website, celebrating their duo A Squared! You can find their website at www.a-squared-official.weebly.com- and P.S. I got a guest appearance on that one too! And finally, sometime soon I hope, I'm going to have a big puppy party with me and some puppy friends my dog mom is introducing me to! I'm going to have so much fun- plus, my pup cousins and best friends, Mack and Deebo the pugs, are gonna be there too. I'm so excited! Thanks so much for tuning into my May update! See you all soon! Hi again, everyone! It's Millie. I hope you all enjoyed the story last week! As a special little surprise for you all, we decided to write and release and exclusive story all about how Mack, Deebo, and I met. We'll carry on tomorrow with the regular story, though, of course. Hope you all enjoy!
Ding dong! Millie flinched at the loud noise as footsteps approached. The door opened, and a girl shouted happily, “Annalise! You’re here!” My pup mom, Annalise, smiled and hugged the girl as they both made their way to the kitchen, separated from the hallway by a baby gate. Millie wagged her tail happily, squirming in Annalise’s arms. She loved meeting new people and exploring new places! Suddenly, a bark cut through the air, and Millie’s ears perked up. From the other side of the baby gate, two pugs stood on their hind legs with their paws scrambling at the top of the gate. One was much smaller than the other, a fawn pug, while the other one was bigger and colored jet black. Their tails were wagging, too! “Eeek! Don’t put me down, Mommy! This is scary!” Millie squeaked, clinging to Annalise’s arms with her paws. “I’ve never met other dogs before!” “It’s okay!” the little fawn pug said. “My name’s Mack. I think we’ve met before, at your pup Mom’s house?” Millie recalled a brief flashback of her pawing at Mack’s stubby pug nose with a growl. “Yeah, I think we have,” Millie said uncertainly, still fearful. She tilted her head at the other pug. “And you are…?” “I’m Deebo, Mack’s older brother. And that’s Anisha, our pup mom,” Deebo added, pointing to the other girl. “What’s your name?” “Millie,” she said, trying to draw up as much confidence as she could. “Millie the maltipoo.” Annalise and Anisha stepped over the baby gate. The two pugs jumped up on Annalise, standing on their stubby hind legs. They tried to paw for Millie out of love- they were curious to meet this sweet, fluffy new puppy named Millie. Millie the maltipoo. “Hey!” Anisha shouted. “Deebo! Mack! Down!” The two pugs obediently jumped down, only to jump right back up again. Anisha smacked her forehead. “Sorry, Millie. Lise, too.” Anisha glanced over at the two of them. “The pugs are a bit crazy, but they’ll calm down and you three will be quick friends. Don’t worry.” Millie wasn’t so sure about the whole “quick friends” thing. Although, it seemed like Annalise was sure of it, so she bent down, and the pugs hopped off her legs. She gave Deebo and Mack a few cuddles, and then set Millie on the floor. “No! Don’t do it! Please! Mommy, no! You don’t understand! They’ll eat me! They’re big! Noo! Stoooop!” Millie yelped. But it was no use. The pugs came over and sniffed her all over. Millie let out a half whimper, half growl as the pugs continued to sniff her out. Annalise was sitting criss- cross on the floor, so Millie tripped over her small body in an attempt to run back to the safety of her Mommy’s lap. She curled up and whimpered. The pugs then started nipping at each other, then completely running around the kitchen, chasing each other in a game of puppy tag. It was a wild goose chase! “Don’t you wanna go play with them, Mills?” Annalise offered to Millie. Millie just curled up in an even tighter ball in response. She gently lowered the frightened pup onto the ground, who slunk across the floor, fearful. The pugs watched her in wonder. Bounce! A ball rolled across the floor. Simultaneously, all three pups went running for the fun toy. Millie looked up at them in surprise. “You like playing with the ball too?” she asked tentatively, her voice wavering in fear. “Of course! I love rolling it around and running to catch it when my mom throws it!” Mack said happily. Millie pawed the ball shyly. It rolled over to Mack, who pawed it back. “Wow! This is…fun, actually!” Millie woofed as she tossed it back to her new friend. Within moments, the two started to play- with Deebo joining in quickly, too! They chased each other around the kitchen, shared their toys together, and had little puppy wrestling matches. Annalise and Anisha oohed and awed at their cuteness as the three pups played- now best friends for life. TO BE UPDATED TOMORROW! Today is my very first puppy playdate, and I'm having a blast so far!
Hi guys! Thanks for joining me in another blog post! It's Millie, and today, I'll be writing all about my very first puppy playdate with my pug cousins Mack and Deebo at their pup mom Anisha's house! My pup mom, Annalise, came over with me too, of course. (Don't worry, I'll link all their websites at the end of this!) When I first got into the kitchen, I was really scared! I'd met Mack before, once, but it was outside and both of us were being carried by different people standing a couple feet apart. But now, Deebo was here too! Both of them were so crazy- and really excited to see me! I was excited to see them too! I've never really met any other doggies before, so it was really scary! The boys kept jumping up and running around to sniff me, and it was so frightening! I kept pawing at them and growling like the fierce little pup that I am, but eventually, we all warmed up to each other and started to play! It's been so fun! I love my pup cousins now! We're going to be doing puppy photoshoots today with my pup mom's camera, and I can't wait to do it with my new best friends! It's Millie! Today sure is a big day, because today I'm- as well as my pup cousins, Mack and Deebo -going to be introducing a brand new MilliePup tradition- daily stories! Each day (excluding the weekends of course... I need to sleep in!) , me, my pup mom, pup cousins, and their pup mom, will all collaborate to write a thrilling part of a story- which will be posted on my blog, of course! Each story will feature us, obviously, along with cute pictures to help tell our tale! Enjoy update #1! “Guys! I have a story to tell!” Millie barked to Deebo and Mack. “Yeah?” Deebo replied, excitedly. “Ooh! Tell us what it is!” Mack yips back. “Tell us, tell us, tell us!” Mack’s tail started to wag. Millie and her human, Annalise, had just arrived at Deebo and Mack’s house. While Anisha (Deebo and Mack’s human) and Annalise were upstairs, Millie, Deebo, and Mack talked and played in the kitchen downstairs. “Okay,” Millie said. “So, a few days ago, Anisha came over to my house, and her and Annalise started to do something. They picked up a weird bulgy black thing that they called a ‘camera.’ Then, Annalise picked me up, and she walked over to a blank white wall in her house. She smiled and laughed while I licked her nose, and Anisha took pictures. I decided to pose for a few of the pictures too! Truthfully, some of the time, I was really bored. I just wanted to go back to my playpen and play with my toys!” “And what happened next?” Deebo asked, curiously. “Well, after that, Annalise just held me in front of the wall- she didn’t pose. She stayed out of the pictures. Then, Annalise tucked me under her arm and went to stand next to Anisha. They looked at the camera screen, and oohed and ahhed the pictures, telling me that I was adorable and very photogenic. “Next, they took me outside through my doggie door and had me pose for a few more pictures- some with Annalise, some without Annalise. When they were finished with the long photoshoot, they looked at the pictures they took and they said things like ‘Oh my Gosh! That one’s my favorite!’ Then they took me back inside and plopped me back in my playpen. I was wondering what the pictures were for, but then I found out. “I overheard one of their conversations. They were talking about making websites for us- me, you, and Mack. We all have our own websites! I don’t know what a website is, exactly, but I like the sound of it! Then, every chance they got, when I was in a cute position, they would snap a pic of me. They also plopped me on the couch and took some pictures of me then. And… I guess that's about it, guys!” “Woah,” Mack woofed in awe, pondering what he’d just heard. “Since me and Mack have websites, too, do you think that we’ll have a photoshoot?” Deebo asked Millie eagerly. Millie didn’t have a chance to respond, because just then, Anisha and Annalise stepped into the kitchen- with a big, black, bulky thing. All three pups scurried over to the baby gate, their tails wagging as they looked up. And then, Anisha said seven words: “Time for your photoshoot, Mack and Deebo!” TO BE UPDATED TOMORROW!

Hi again, everyone! I'm back! Remember my last blog post? (And if you don't, make sure to go check it out!) I talked all about how being handfed helped me learn to not bite my pup mom anymore! Plus, I promised I'd make another blog that went into detail all about handfeeding. Well, here it is! Let's dive in! My mom has taught me that good habits equal good rewards. Whenever I wanted a treat or a toy, I used to go crazy! I'd jump and bark and bite and scratch all over the place like a little fluffy tornado! But handfeeding helped teach me that being crazy won't help and calm behavior will! Here's how my doggy mom taught me this: First, she always starts with luring me into a sit. She takes a piece of my food and raises it above my ahead until my little bottom hits the ground. Then, she rewards me! Wow! So easy! If I start jumping around after she feeds me, she puts me back into a sit, and then feeds me again when I do it. And if I stay in a sit position, she gives me extra food. Yum! Being the smart little cookie I am, I learn quickly! I start to note that when I'm sitting, I get fed, and when I'm jumping and barking, I don't. So, I start to offer to sit. And wow! Look at all the yummy food that comes with it! Now, whenever I want something from mom, I remember that sit=reward- and it works! Mom even starts to do other tricks with me too! She says "down," and I lay down. Food! She says touch and holds her hand out, I bop my nose against her palm. Food! Wow, this is really working- and it's fun! Being handfed helps her train me, and me to be trained! I love working, especially when I get food as a reward! And best of all, being handfed helps me bond with my favorite pup mom. Woof woof, Millie Yes, that is my doggy mom yelping after I bite her. But in my defense, she is quite weird and dramatic.
Hi everyone, again! It's Millie! I'm introducing a new addition to my wonderful website- blog posts! And this is my very first one. A couple times a week, I'll release exclusive blogs all about my spectacu-fur life! So, let's get started on my dog blog debut! My pup mom likes to call me a fluffy land shark. I love to nip and bite at things and people! When I was smaller, it used to just be a little nibble. But now that I'm older and bigger, it's a huge chomp! But, my pup mom and I are working on it. I never knew people didn't like to be bit! Whenever I bite mom, she gives this really big yell! (You can see it in the pictures!) It always gives me a startle. Instinctively, I stop. She doesn't do it to punish me, obviously, but I'm not a big fan of the loud noise! She turns around too, so our playtime stops. Awww! I love playing, and I don't love the big yelp, so I try to avoid biting her! After she yelps and turns around, she gives me one of my favorite toys. Yay! And when I bite on it and play with it instead of her hand, she gives me lots of treats and rewards. She even turns back around towards me and we play again! It makes me feel so good! Now, I'd rather bite my toys and feel good inside then bite my mom! Another thing my pup mommy does is handfeed me! She takes some of my yummy food at mealtime and holds it underneath her thumb so I can't get the food. She waits until I sit down, or I'm calm- not jumping or barking for my food! -and then feeds me from there. I'll make another blog all about that, later! If I'm biting at her hand to get the food, she keeps it trapped underneath her finger. But when I use my tongue gently, she releases it! Wow! Being gentle and not biting gets me lots of yummy and fun rewards! To any pups out there, make sure you don't bite your pet parent's! It's not nice, and it makes them sad. And to any pet parents out there, maybe this blog could help you out with your fluffy land shark! See you all in the next blog! Woof woof, Millie |
